Our fully bespoke picture framing service offers the highest quality materials and expert hand finished frames. We use anti-glare glazing and acid free conservation materials to ensure your artwork is preserved. All timbers used are FSC certified and are available in both hard and soft woods, with many colours finishes to choose from. We specialise in internal slip frames, allowing you to make the most of your artwork.

At H.O.B studio, we believe that nothing beats the beauty and quality of a handcrafted frame. That’s why we make every frame by hand, using traditional woodworking techniques and premium materials. Our frames are cut, pinned, sanded, finished, waxed, polished and quality checked by hand, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship. Choose from our selection of frames and give your artwork the perfect finishing touch.

Acid-free
Our art frame making service is all about preserving your precious art pieces with the highest quality materials. Our museum quality archival materials ensure your artwork lasts for generations to come. We use only acid-free boards and tapes and the best glues to ensure your art is protected from fading and environmental damage. Our experienced team of designers will work with you to create an art frame that not only preserves your artwork but also enhances its beauty.

Low carbon footprint
We take pride in creating frames that beautifully showcase your artwork while also being environmentally conscious. That's why we never use wood from China, Brazil, or any other country with questionable forestry or labor practices. Our frames are made from premium European wood and crafted by skilled artisans using traditional hand tools, hand and foot operated tools. We're proud to employ local staff and have our workshop on site, so you can see the care and precision that goes into each and every frame.

Sustainably sourced timbers FSC
Our art frames are made exclusively from real wood, with no veneers or other substitutes. We ensure that each piece, from the smallest to the largest, is crafted to perfection using FSC certified, sustainably sourced timbers. We take pride in providing you with the best quality frames for your artwork. Choose from our wide range of styles and sizes to perfectly complement your artistic vision.

We only use sustainably sourced timbers directly supplied from the mill for our hand-made picture frames.
Acid free
We use acid free mounting boards and PH neutral tapes to secure your artwork as standard.
Hand-finished
Each frame we make is hand sanded,finished and waxed in our Chorlton studio.
