Looking for an independent art shop in Manchester with a mix of bespoke picture framing, modern wall art, and fine art commissions? You’ll find it all at H.O.B Gallery & Studio, right in the heart of Chorlton on Beech Road. Here’s a simple guide on how to get here—whether you’re
travelling by tram, bus, or train.

🚲 Cycling to H.O.B Gallery
Cycling is one of the best ways to reach Beech Road. Thanks to the Bee Network bike lanes, Chorlton is now connected to Manchester city centre and nearby neighbourhoods by safe, segregated cycle routes.
From Manchester City Centre: Use the Oxford Road / Wilmslow Road cycleway southbound. At Fallowfield, join the Fallowfield Loop cycle path, then follow the new lanes along Barlow Moor Road into Chorlton. Turn right onto Beech Road for H.O.B Gallery.
From Didsbury & Withington: Follow the Wilmslow Road lanes north, then pick up the Barlow Moor Road segregated lanes, which take you almost directly to Beech Road.
From Fallowfield: Join the Fallowfield Loop westbound, exit near St Werburgh’s Road tram stop, and follow cycle signs into Chorlton and Beech Road.
From Whalley Range: Use Manchester Road cycle lanes into Chorlton, then turn onto Barlow Moor Road and right into Beech Road.
From Stretford & Chorlton Park: Connect via Edge Lane or Stretford Road cycle lanes, then join Barlow Moor Road. From there, Beech Road is a short ride away.
From Trafford / Sale side: Take the Bridgewater Way canal cycle route towards Chorlton, then link up with the Beech Road area through Egerton Road South.
Bike Parking: Secure racks and railings are available along Beech Road itself. For longer stays, there are larger stands at Beech Road Park and near Chorlton precinct, both just a few minutes’ walk from the gallery.
👉 Cycling is often the quickest way to reach our Chorlton art shop and framing studio, and gives you the chance to enjoy Beech Road’s cafés, bars, and independent shops before or after your visit.
