Urban Fragments

By Jack Lloyd

A contemporary collection of photographic collages exploring the architecture, colour and distinctive identities of our urban landscapes.

Urban Fragments is a collection of original photographic collages by Jack Lloyd, bringing together architectural details, familiar landmarks and fragments of everyday urban life to create imaginative interpretations of the places we know.

Drawing inspiration from the contrasting cityscapes of New York and Manchester, as well as the distinctive neighbourhood character of Chorlton, each composition explores the relationship between historic architecture, contemporary development and the visual textures of the urban environment.

Multiple photographic images are carefully layered and combined, allowing buildings, streets, signage and architectural features to intersect in unexpected ways. Bold colours, translucent forms and shifting perspectives transform recognisable locations into intricate compositions that invite closer examination.

Rather than simply documenting a place, Urban Fragments seeks to capture its atmosphere, character and evolving identity — celebrating the architectural details and everyday visual elements that make each location unique.

Produced as strictly limited collector's editions, each artwork is professionally printed on Hahnemühle German Etching fine art paper using archival-quality pigment inks, with an additional UV protective treatment. Every print is individually numbered and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
