"HOB Gallery in Chorlton, Manchester, is my working studio and gallery space. It’s the space where I design and make my photo-collage artworks and hand-crafted frames.
The walls show a changing mix of my own artworks and examples of bespoke frames I can create for you — pieces that combine story, place, and craft. The studio is an active workspace too, so you’ll often see projects in progress and materials laid out for upcoming designs. Many people drop in for a chat about creating something personal — whether that’s a full photo-collage commission, or having their own artwork framed from start to finish.
Every frame is made by hand using solid timber and finished to suit the piece — from clean, contemporary designs through to more classic, characterful styles.
There’s a full range of options for frames, mounts, slips, and glass, with sizes tailored exactly to fit your work. If you can picture it, I can create it. Some clients want subtle natural waxes that show off the wood grain; others prefer painted or stained finishes to complement the artwork or the space it’s going in. It’s all made here in the studio, with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and the right look for each individual piece". - Jack Lloyd
